Starting June 21st and ending on July 19th, on Tuesdays, we will have Storytime with a Make & Take craft at 6 pm on the library lawn. If the weather doesn't allow us to "camp out" on the lawn, we'll move into the library.
If you can't make it Tuesdays at 6, don't worry! Hike on down to the library during library hours to pick up the week's craft supplies. Otherwise, bring a blanket or chair and join us Tuesdays at 6 pm!
If you are an Oneida resident, call the library to register your pre-K to 6th grade student. Registration flyers were available in ROWVA Elementary take home folders, or at the library. Check our Facebook page for previews of weekly stories and more details.
Participants who reach their weekly goals will earn badges on travel logs posted on the inside doors of the library. The treasure box is open for rewards, and successful participants will receive a goody bag at the end of the program and the chance to attend a free movie at AMC Theater in Galesburg!
We hope you will explore with us and Read Beyond the Beaten Path!

Read Beyond the Beaten Path!
Our theme encourages every participant to explore nature in the great outdoors through stories and crafts at our "summer camp" at the library.
Reading over the summer can help kids avoid the summer learning slide. Expand their world through the library! Help them practice their reading and comprehension skills in a fun and engaging way.
Our Storytimes together this summer will explore books about nature and adventures in the great outdoors.
Finnegan Fox will be there with some of his forest friends. Come and join us!
